Cape Cod Floor Plans Decorating Ideas For A Cape Cod Style Home? Please Help!?

Decorating Ideas for a Cape Cod style home? Please help!? - cape cod floor plans

Hello everyone! Please take a moment to help us.

My family (husband, 4 daughters, -16, 12, Twin 2 years - and I) are moving into a house, beautiful picturesque Cape Cod style. The house was built in 1918 and is in fairly good condition. Beautiful pine wood floor, fireplace and a non-windows, the precious diamond panel on top. 2 window exterior inlaid with colored glass.
The house belongs to my husband's Grandmother, and remains in the family, so I do not mind investing money into the project. However, do not have unlimited resources. However, someone could me some ideas on how to decorate properly?
Twin is a dark blue light, and all other parts are white now. Even if I do not intend to paint all the rooms, kitchen and bathroom, are urgently needs a new coat.

All ideas are welcome! THANK YOU!

When I think of Cape Cod and importance, I think of Nantucket, and water. I would be in the decoration of furniture in a soft neutral color palette that gives you freedom to remove the padding, the color of blue and green tones. I think that your garden furniture, plants, storage baskets, shells, fish, sand and sea glass in shades of blue and green ... The bright and airy, bright pastel colors and prints.
Close the eyes see and use what you, when you think of the beach. Revised and floral fabrics with white furniture and other tissues would be something I would use. Think simple drawing on works of art in soft colors. You can save an economy and pick up the pharmacy at random and sizes. Fill a glass with the sea, which can store up to one craft, one with sand and other shellfish are acquired. You can fill a large sea of grass Speaking of algae, and I want to study or sisal rugs. Or try to complete a tapestry.
You could add a wall was the Coordinating Council has to add in the difficulties, the depth and color and a welcomed CRISp In contrast to a pale blue.
I personally am not a fan of blue in the kitchen, so that the choice of yellow (for low light, inside), because it is exciting, but if the kitchen is a lot of sunshine and you can then choose d 'with a green sand or neutral color. Vote with your flooring, countertops and utensils.
In the bathroom, I think I like neutral colors on your discarded skin. Or perhaps a bit of pastel pink.
Enjoy your new home!
